The article addresses the challenges involved in training competent and highly qualified music teachers who are proficient in both traditional teaching methods and modern information and communication technologies. Particular attention is paid to students lacking a basic musical education, for whom it is difficult to acquire the necessary volume of musical knowledge and performance skills within four years of university study to compete effectively in the Kazakhstani labor market. The authors emphasize the need to create an effective educational environment, equipped with the necessary resources and music-computer technologies that meet current societal and educational priorities.

As an effective solution to the problems discussed, the article presents the “Soft Way to Mozart” music-computer technology, highlighting its educational and pedagogical potential. Special attention is given to the research of I.B. Gorbunova and her scientific school, who have made a significant contribution to the development of music-computer pedagogical education in Russia and to the dissemination of this experience internationally. The article also evaluates the pedagogical and scientific contributions of H.Heiner, the author and developer of the “Soft Way to Mozart” program. The results of experimental work on the integration of this program into the educational process are presented and analyzed. The article further examines the teaching principles of the “Soft Way to Mozart” technology. The conclusion section summarizes the primary outcomes, derives theoretical and practical implications, and outlines research trajectories and implementation strategies for advancing the role of music-computer and digital technologies in music pedagogy. Additionally, the paper discusses the establishment of commercial professional development courses for music teachers within the department.
