This article examines the effectiveness of applying neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) methods in the development of professional competence among future educational psychologists. In the context of modern educational transformation, particular importance is placed on the formation of effective communication skills, the development of emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt to diverse pedagogical situations. The study was conducted at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University and involved 60 students majoring in Pedagogy and Psychology. The research employed methods of analysis of pedagogical and psychological literature, an author-designed questionnaire, a pedagogical experiment, and comparative analysis of the obtained results. As part of the pedagogical experiment, NLP elements (modeling, reframing, visualization, and emotional state management techniques) were integrated into the educational process. The findings demonstrate that the use of neuro-linguistic programming methods positively influences the development of communication skills, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and flexibility in learning among future educational psychologists. The results substantiate the relevance of systematically incorporating NLP methods into professional training programs for educational psychologists.
