Currently, the increasing volume and accessibility of information demand that students develop the ability to effectively use, evaluate and synthesize information. In this context, the present article addresses the article as the ability to comprehend written texts, analyze them and apply them in real-life situations.
As part of the research, an open-ended survey was conducted among primary school teachers on the topic «Teachers understanding of developing reding literacy in primary school students». A qualitative research method was employed to gain deeper insights into the perceptions and experiences of primary school teachers. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis methods, as well as thematic analysis. The results of the survey identified key thematic areas related to the role of teachers in fostering reading literacy
