The article discusses the issue of the formation of digital competence of undergraduates.The author, analyzing scientific pedagogical, psychological, special literature, tries to reveal the essence of the concept of "digital competence".Based on the scientific literature, the author presents the structure of digital competence of undergraduates.
In accordance with the purpose of the study, various approaches and positions were differentiated to determine the structure of digital competence of undergraduates, including digital competence – the ability to solve various problems in the field of using digital technologies, that is, the use and creation of content using digital technologies, including the search and sharing of information, answers to questions, interaction with other people and computer programming. Digital competence includes digital collaboration, security, and the ability to solve problems.At the same time, it was found that digital competence forms in its structure the ability to effectively select and use digital resources in working with information that integrates knowledge, skills, and needs in general and specifically.
