Abstract

In the modern world, the emergence of new human needs requires their reassessment and the emergence of new views. Modern society requires the development of a system of socio-pedagogical and psychological support for schoolchildren. Because today the frequency of cases of crime among children and adolescents, the spread of “virtual” aggression shows that the system of universal human values of the younger generation differs from the values of the previous generation (tolerance, culture of communication, willingness to help people in need, ability to empathize). These problems cannot be solved without the professional help of qualified specialists, including social educators. Here, taking into account the system of vocational education, the logic of requirements for future social educators is formed in accordance with the real needs of society. The future social teacher must be able to navigate the dynamic information and pedagogical space and use innovative technologies in the social education of schoolchildren. Professional training is an important component of the professional development of future social educators. Interpretations of the concept of “professional success” are constantly supplemented and changed as a result of changing conditions for the personal and professional development of a specialist. The process of developing professional success is aimed at revealing the creative potential of the individual, achieving public recognition, and self-realization. Therefore, success can be understood as the achievement by a person or group of people of high results that distinguish them from others in any area of social activity. An analysis of the scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists was carried out, which examined the substantive characteristics of professional success, and also presented the results of a survey on how students and teachers understand the concept of “professional success”.
