Reveals the practical significance and activity of modern technologies in teaching. In high school, the focus was on innovative technologies used in teaching singing heroes. Based on the research material, Kazakh epic poems became the main objects. The relevance of this topic is determined by the need for students to develop practical skills in analyzing and deepening theoretical knowledge about epic works, instilling love and interest in the people, popularizing heroism, protecting the honor of the country, protecting the Fatherland.

The programs presented in the school literature lesson, including folklore and literary works of various genres, allow students to develop skills that open the way to the world of literature and culture. However, while expressing the originality and originality of literary works, working with them, teachers ignore the fact that they are works of art as part of the national culture. When analyzing folklore works in the classroom, the peculiarities of their reception are not sufficiently realized, as a result, artistic value fades into the background, and literature becomes only a tool of ideological influence.
