Abstract

The current socio-economic conditions impose higher requirements on the professional, who must take an active subjective position in adapting to the characteristic features of today's world of professions, manifested in their dynamism, high competition in the labor market and orientation of employers toward experienced professionals. Nowadays qualitative professional education is not always able to guarantee employment, subsequent stable work in the received specialty and career growth. In this regard, the ideas about professional self-determination previously formed in the conditions of stable socio-economic situation in the society require revision.

The article presents the selection and substantiation of diagnostic tools for the study of students' professional self-determination in the system of secondary general education school.

The purpose of the article is to consider the selection of diagnostic tools, taking into account the peculiarities of professional self-determination in the new socio-economic conditions.

Currently, there is no universally accepted universal method for all occasions to identify professional interests and aptitudes, so in order to get reliable results, it is necessary to use several techniques.

In the presented article we offer some diagnostic materials for the implementation of professional self-determination of students in the system of secondary general education school. These methods will be used in the next stage of empirical research.
