The article reveals the significance of the problem of psychological and pedagogical measurement and evaluation of the educational environment of the school. At the same time, the author takes as a basis the idea that education and upbringing – at what stage, in whatever society they are, are considered the most valuable qualities. According to the great teacher K. D. Ushinsky, if the most important part of education is character correction, then specialists – teachers-psychologists who are directly involved in correcting a person, studying his behavior, psyche, attention, conducting education and upbringing. Therefore, the diagnosis of the educational environment is considered their main task. In order for a teacher-psychologist to instill knowledge and upbringing in his students, he must first study the level of their perception of information. A full-fledged determination of the level of attention of a student through its various methods is pedagogical and psychological diagnostics. The pedagogical and psychological measurement and evaluation of the learning environment plays a special role in teaching, education and upbringing.
