The article analyzes the rich methodological works of the national teacher Akhmet Baitursynov, who initiated the science of the methodology of teaching the Kazakh language. Akhmet Baitursynov believed that the school needed an educated teacher, equipment, programs, textbooks. I worked hard and achieved my goal in order to prepare them.
The article discusses the textbooks "Oku Kuraly", prepared by children for the disclosure of their literacy and "Til - Kural" for the study of the Kazakh language as a subject. The issues of teaching in such works as "Bayanshy", "Til Zhumsar", which are aimed at mastering these textbooks, considered the practical side of learning. In addition to textbooks, articles that raise the problem of learning are analyzed. In his articles, the scientist analyzes such problems as teaching methods, the method of teaching the native language, what the school needs, the meaning of primary school, generalized method, visual method.
In the considered methodological works of the scientist, the consistency of the issues raised with the requirements imposed in the modern education system is analyzed. The main features of the modern education system are reflected in the works of the scientist. For example, in accordance with the main features of the updated education system, it is necessary to continuously spiral knowledge transfer, take into account the age of the child, transfer knowledge from easy to difficult, the child should receive knowledge independently, the student should be able to apply the knowledge gained in practice, in everyday life. These features and principles are comprehensively analyzed and considered in the methodological works of Akhmet Baitursynov, articles on training. The article provides examples from the works of the scientist.
