This article presents the results of monitoring the organization of home education for сhildren with special educational needs. The analysis of statistical data indicates negative trends in the education system of children home. Home-based education, unlike school, classroom, due to objective reasons, cannot provide the entire volume of educational services, which significantly limits the opportunities and violates the rights of children with disabilities and children with disabilities to quality education. In general, the analysis of the dynamics of the growth in the number of children with with special educational needs studying at home showed that there is no connection between the identification of children with with special educational needs of school age, the influence of their existing psychophysical disorders and regional peculiarities. As part of the monitoring of the organization of home education for children with with special educational needs , a survey was conducted. During the survey, the difficulties experienced by teachers of secondary schools in the process of teaching children with SEN at home in the traditional and distance format were highlighted.
