In the article, the authors analyzed the leadership model for school principals in Kazakhstan. This model is based on data from a survey of school principals in Kazakhstan, as well as the conceptual framework presented by the International Successful School Leadership Project (ISSPP). This model highlights the importance of contextual factors, distributed leadership, and school capacity development. It takes into account the cultural, economic and educational characteristics of the country, providing practical tools for improving school management. The model includes several key elements aimed at strengthening the educational environment and improving management efficiency.
Based on the data of the analysis and analysis of the conducted scientific, pedagogical, and specialized literature, the authors in their research sought to adapt the main ideas and components of the leadership model for school principals in Kazakhstan, related to solving the problem of developing the director's institute within the framework of university-school cooperation, and to identify qualities that somehow meet the criteria of leadership. The development of a model of a director as a leader of a new formation, its components, criteria and indicators is based on the main provisions of the theory of leadership qualities, behavioral theories of leadership and situational theories of leadership, theories of professional development, theories of pedagogical activity, theories of management, the results of diagnostics and analysis of the need to develop leadership skills of school principals.
