Abstract
This article discusses the relationship of social activity with the level of mental and speech development of primary school students with hearing impairments. In addition, material on scientific, theoretical and practical research of the problem of speech development of hearing impaired primary schoolchildren in different learning conditions is contained. The emphasis is also placed on the fact that the problem of the development of social activity and the development of speech of younger students with impaired hearing is determined by the most difficult task of modern elementary school. The author points out that in order to ensure the social activity of inaudible children, a close relationship between teachers and family is necessary. Parents are actively involved in the educational process. The solution to this problem is extremely relevant for the development of the special education system.
