This article discusses the importance of effective ways to organize independent work in teaching English. Today, in order to integrate into the global world, our main task is to train qualified, innovative, original and creative professionals. To solve this problem, it is necessary to use a variety of modern methods, including the correct organization of the student's independent work, which is the only solution to this problem. Because it develops the creative independence of the future specialist, acquires such qualities as critical thinking, teamwork, inquisitiveness, responsible and effective performance, finding solutions to problems individually or in groups. Motivational, cognitive and creative components were selected in teaching English. Because the student's interest in completing the task in independent work, basic knowledge and experience, as well as creativity play a special role in showing high results.
