Abstract

Improving the multilingual competence of future primary education teachers in the modern educational space is one of the urgent tasks of strategic importance. The intensive development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies provides ample opportunities to personalize the process of learning a foreign language, adapt the learning content and increase students' learning motivation. However, the empirical effectiveness of using AI tools in teaching English in higher education institutions still requires a comprehensive study. The purpose of the study is to prove the effectiveness of using AI tools in teaching English to students of primary education through experimental research in comparison with traditional teaching methods. It has been established that the systematic use of AI technologies in the experimental group significantly increases the students' proficiency in professional and pedagogical terminology, academic writing skills and the speed of eliminating language barriers. The results of the study will serve as the basis for the development of scientific, methodological and practical recommendations for the effective integration of AI technologies into multilingual education programs in the process of training future primary school teachers.
