This article explores the role and effectiveness of modern digital technologies in developing the professional digital competence of future pedagogue-psychologists. The study was conducted among 1st- and 2nd-year students majoring in “Pedagogy and Psychology” at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. A 15-item questionnaire based on the DigCompEdu framework was used to assess students’ experience in applying digital tools for professional and academic purposes. The survey focused on the frequency of using digital technologies, their confidence in employing interactive and AI-based tools, and their digital ethics awareness. The results revealed that students actively use platforms such as Google Workspace, Padlet, Kahoot, Mentimeter, ChatGPT, and Canva. These tools enhance students’ learning motivation, communication, and creative thinking skills while fostering collaboration and self-directed learning. Approximately 78% of respondents reported that digital technologies increase their professional motivation, while 72% indicated improvement in communication and teamwork. Moreover, the study confirmed that digital competence extends beyond technical proficiency and includes ethical awareness, data protection, and responsible digital behavior. The findings suggest that the purposeful integration of digital technologies in teacher-psychologist training enhances students’ innovative thinking, reflective abilities, and readiness for independent decision-making in professional contexts.
