This article addresses one of the most pressing issues in contemporary education - the prospects for the development of digital technologies in the field of linguistic instruction. The research focuses on analyzing the potential of digital tools, online platforms, and intelligent systems that are gradually transforming traditional approaches to foreign language teaching and methods of developing linguistic competence. An analytical overview of national and international initiatives in the digitalization of linguistic education is presented, along with an examination of the perceptions and readiness levels of teachers and students to employ such technologies in the learning process.

The purpose of this study is to identify the key directions for the further advancement of digital technologies aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and interactivity of language learning. To achieve this objective, the study applies methods of comparative analysis, content analysis of academic publications, and a survey conducted among language instructors and students of Kazakhstani universities.

The empirical component of the research was conducted as a 12-week pedagogical experiment at Bolashaq Mektebi (Almaty). The blended digital learning model demonstrated a greater improvement in the overall language proficiency score and a decrease in speaking anxiety; the summarized data are presented in Table 2.

The findings indicate that the integration of digital platforms, artificial intelligence systems, and virtual and augmented environments enhances student engagement, improves the quality of feedback, and supports the personalization of educational trajectories. At the same time, methodological and organizational challenges were identified, requiring a comprehensive approach for their resolution. The conclusion outlines key priorities for improving digital infrastructure and pedagogical practices that ensure the sustainable development of linguistic education within the national educational space.
