Abstract

The article discusses some issues of the formation of research activities of future primary school teachers. The authors tried to reveal some principles of the organization of education in a modern university, such as unity and active interaction of research, innovation, project and educational activities; focus on the social and spiritual development of the individual; concentration of efforts and resources on priority, socially significant and insufficiently mastered areas; support and development of scientific creativity of students; support for bright creative individuals who are able to ensure a high level of research; bringing the results of research and projects to practical application, while using publishing activities and the Internet, etc.

Based on a review of scientific, pedagogical, specialized and methodological literature devoted to the research problem, the scientists identified the specifics of the organization of research activities and described the stages of organizing independent research activities of students. The psychological characteristics of the student researcher's personality were also revealed.

The researchers described innovative methods and techniques for organizing students' research activities and proposed a methodological system for shaping the research activities of future primary school teachers.
