In the context of the modernization of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the need to improve the quality of training of teachers with professional competencies in the field of pedagogical measurements is increasing. Effective organization of the educational process, an objective assessment of the achievements of students, the use of modern diagnostic tools and interpretation of results are impossible without the relevant skills and knowledge of teachers. The main purpose of the article is the scientific justification of the need to introduce a systematic approach to the formation of professional competencies in the field of pedagogical measurements in teachers of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the experience and capabilities of the Center. The study used methods of analysis of regulatory documents, generalization of practical experience, expert survey and comparative analysis. The results of an analysis of the current state of teacher training in this area are presented, key deficits are identified and components of a training system covering content, digital resources and mechanisms for assessing results are proposed. It was concluded that it is advisable to institutionalize the systematic training of teachers in the field of measurements through the development of advanced training programs, the introduction of digital tools and the creation of conditions for continuous professional development. The results can be used in national initiatives to improve the quality of education and training of teachers.
