Abstract

Kazakh folklore is a unified communication system based on the oral dissemination of information. Genre specifics of folklore texts are determined by their origin in everyday life and forms of constant use. At the same time, folklore should be understood not only as a set of genres of oral folk art, it should be evaluated as a set of views on the environment, reflected in various aspects of traditional culture. Therefore, along with the genres of oral folk art, special attention is paid to other aspects of folk culture, such as mythology, customs, being, language.

 In Kazakhstan, the issues of teaching folklore in higher education are acute. Close attention is not paid to the issues of his training with the help of modern technologies and methodological approaches. In accordance with the strategic programs of Kazakhstan on modern education and science, teaching folklore to students in higher educational institutions is becoming a national issue. Folklore heritage is of great importance for improving the patriotic qualities of students. And folklore works are of great importance in the formation of national identity.

This article will review the processes of folklore cognition in the higher school of Kazakhstan, identify the view of students on new technologies in the development of folklore heritage, pay close attention to its methodological aspects and highlight the issues of development.
