The article provides diagnostics of ensuring the socialization of students by the method of construction. First of all, the characteristic of the design method as a pedagogical problem in the presentation of diagnostics of student socialization is analyzed. In the theoretical analysis, it became necessary to analyze several concepts, the essence and content of the concepts "design", "socialization of younger schoolchildren" in defining the theoretical foundations were determined. The design method refers to and recognizes the components, criteria, and indicators for ensuring the socialization of younger students. The internal characteristics of the conceptual level, the content level, the technological level and the level of the design process are given. The criteria formed from the components of dynamic pedagogical communication (motivational-meaningful, cognitive-activity, reflexive-evaluative) are a motivational-value attitude to socialization through design methods and the active expression of knowledge and skills to design design, self-education through design methods in socialization. The components and accessories meet the criteria and are implemented according to the levels (lower, medium, high). The article describes intellectual, volitional, human positional, organizational, managerial, activity, material and financial qualities as characteristic design resources.
In the empirical section, diagnostic work was organized based on the methodology of A. N.Volkova «Role prediction and interaction» and «author's questionnaire to determine the level of socialization of younger schoolchildren». In conclusion, scientific and methodological recommendations are given.
