The article discusses the issues of cooperation between partneruniversitiesin the development and implementation of onlinelanguageeducationand the formation of students' Russian-speaking communicative competence and its individual components in a global educational environment.

The authorsdescribe the experience of using the collaborativespacein the field of philologicaleducation at al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan,Almaty) and PFUR (Russia,Moscow), which provides enrichment of the professional and pedagogical competence of future teachers of Russian language and literature. Aspart of the jointcooperation, a pilotprojectdeveloped a curriculumthatincludedbothspecializeddisciplinesin the framework of philologicalspecialties, as well asa psychological and pedagogical unitт that prepares graduates for professional activities as teachers of Russian language and literature.

The project also analyzes and implementsother forms of interaction (inclusiv elearning,academic mobility) that contribute to maintaining the competitiveness of language education and the teaching community.

The long-term experience of international cooperation between al-Farabi Kazakh National University and PFUR University in the training of teaching staff shows that joint educational projects are a mutually beneficial form of interaction that contributes to improving the quality of philological education, intensive development of scientific, methodological and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
