Abstract

The article examines the relevance, features and effectiveness of implementing a cluster approach in education. A brief overview of the formation history of the cluster approach is given. The concepts of clusters in various fields and their impact on the formation of clusters in the field of education have been identified. The premises for turning to a cluster approach at the current stage of the development of the education system were noted. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the cluster platform denies traditional management methods in the field of education.The educational cluster involves the integration of the efforts of stakeholders in the direction of achieving competitive advantages in the labour market and in the field of educational services. Educational organisations together with institutions from industry, culture and art, health care, and local government bodies create an educational cluster. The article emphasises that the integration of educational organisations of different levels into the cluster complements the experience and expands their potential. Common interests and values of educational organisations, educational authorities, organisations from the industry and culture sectors have great significance. Also, conclusions were drawn about the advantages of education clustering, about the possibilities of distributing its products outside the cluster, and shaping new values in the domestic pedagogical reality.
