This article presents a detailed analysis of the effectiveness of using a web quest as an innovative educational tool for improving students' communicative competence in the context of the modern educational process. A web quest is a student-centered teaching method, the main element of which is research activity and joint task completion using Internet resources. The main goal of this approach is to develop students' critical thinking abilities, active interaction and practical application of acquired knowledge. The study presents a detailed analysis of how web quests influence the development of all aspects of communicative competence, including reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, in the context of language education. Particular attention is paid to the indicators of students' participation in the educational process, the quality of assignments and the improvement of their communicative skills.
