The article comprehensively examines and analyzes the problem of training future teachers to use educational resources in preparation for professional activity. In a rapidly changing world, it is emphasized that preparation for the use of educational resources as a certain manifestation of the general preparation for the professional activity of a future primary school teacher is an urgent problem.
Educational resources are materials that have didactic value and determine the content of education. The use of educational resources allows teachers to qualitatively change the content, methods and organizational forms of teaching. Types of educational resources include textbooks and teaching aids, online courses, multimedia materials, web resources, interactive educational applications and programs, educational games, special equipment, including laboratory equipment, technical means and equipment necessary for teaching individual subjects.
It is written on the basis of research into educational resources, works of scientists published in domestic and foreign news publications in this area, regulatory documents, and guidelines for teachers in general.
The results of the survey «Knowledge of a future teacher about educational resources» conducted by students of the educational program «Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education» of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay and West Kazakhstan University named after M.Utemisov were analyzed. Analytical review and analysis were used as research methods. Based on the results of the study, students' attitudes towards educational resources were determined.
