Abstract

The authors reveal in the article the features of bullying as a form of aggressive behavior aimed at causing harm, fear or discomfort to another person. The causes and factors contributing to bullying of modern schoolchildren are identified and disclosed. In the course of their empirical research, the authors focus on the following indicators: the number of students who were affected by bullying or witnessed it, as well as their psycho-emotional state. In the course of the study, such research methods as questionnaires were also used. The article proves that the methods of art therapy and CBT can effectively combat the effects of bullying. From a pedagogical point of view, the authors note the importance of educational work with teachers on the part of educational psychologists and deputy directors of educational work. The article notes that teachers and the administration should set the necessary example of social behavior for students and involve parents in the prevention of bullying.  There are such forms of work as: creating a positive and participatory environment at school, organizing events aimed at strengthening team spirit and friendship between students.
