This article discusses the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of creative
thinking of students. The problem of the development of students' creative abilities is defined as one of the
urgent problems of forming the personality of a future specialist.However, the concept of creativity is also
defined as a set of abilities and other features that contribute to potentially successful creative thinking.
Scientific views of some foreign scientists, including Gestalt psychologists, are proposed on this
problem.Along with this, it is mentioned about approaches that stimulate modern students to creative
thinking in the educational process. The indicators for determining the level of development of creative
thinking of students are also given. The author defined psychological and pedagogical conditions that
contribute to the successful development of creative thinking of future teaching staff in the light of this
problem.
