The article examines the history of the formation and transformation of the system of additional education in the Republic of Kazakhstan. We focused on the works of scientists who conducted research on this topic. Organizations and reorganized institutions of additional education, currently providing additional education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, are shown. At the same time, the features of the educational process in the homes of schoolchildren that ensure the implementation of additional education by the state are revealed. The guiding documents in these institutions, types of control of the educational process, reporting are analyzed, their views are expressed. Teachers in organizations of additional education, their job responsibilities are shown. The educational programs in the homes of schoolchildren, the author's programs of teachers, their features are highlighted.
We focused on the features of standard (standard), author's, modified (adapted) curricula, which are guided by the house of schoolchildren in the educational process. The application of these programs in the educational process is described.
