Abstract

In the global information society we live in, English is the universal language. That is why most of the school programs in Kazakhstan include English as one of the main subjects. The main purpose of teaching English from primary school is to develop the communicative competence of students to help them in their future life and give them opportunities. One of the main goals of the research work is to show that gamification can perform an educational function. To consider English as a second language as a resource for stimulating and effective teaching in primary education. The main results and analyzes of the research work were collected by conducting a survey of secondary school teachers in the city of Shymkent and collecting quantitative and qualitative data sheets with a pedagogical dimension. In the process of teaching English as a foreign language in the primary education process, gamification or game-based learning helps to reduce the fear of learning a foreign language and increase the enthusiasm of primary school students, so this research has a great contribution to the field of primary education. According to the methods of direct and indirect observation of primary school teachers, if we start teaching English to students on the basis of games or through gamification, then we can double the interest of children in learning a foreign language.
