The article is devoted to the importance of practice-oriented training in the formation of professional competencies of future teachers. Currently, in the process of practice-oriented training, positive qualitative changes are taking place, which are manifested in the modernization of professional training, changes in its content, and the revision of all its components. In such cases, there is a need to find methods that contribute to the training of a professionally adapted person, taking into account the specific needs of employers. The authors analyzed the scientific and theoretical basis of the formation of personality in this direction and gave examples of the influence of the personality-oriented approach in practice-oriented learning. The article also touched upon the research of foreign scientists, analyzed methodological approaches to the formation of professional competence of future teachers, ensuring the successful professional adaptation of graduates in the modern labor market.
