The article discusses significant problems of employment of students and graduates on the example of
the Taraz State University named after M.Kh. Dulati, analyzed factors that can create barriers and obstacles
when applying for a job upon completion of studies and in a specialty. The results of studies are presented,
the opinions of graduates and employers on the quality of young specialists, the characteristics of hiring are
analyzed. The employment management system for young specialists in the city is carried out at the
coordination, local and municipal levels. This work includes the functions of analysis and forecasting,
marketing, program development, the process of motivation and control. To promote collaboration
betweenthe university,thegraduate and the employer on an ongoing basis, management is carried out through
the regulation of a professional career, internships, social partnerships, as well as communicative and
information technologies
