Abstract

The article discusses the development of soft skills in high school students. Soft skills represent universal personality skills. The concept of "soft skills" can be described by general tendencies towards personal development. There are certain development conditions for this. The conditions for the formation of soft skills are a prosperous situation in the family, the organization of the educational process, digital competence, developed communication skills. Soft skills are one of the criteria for the effectiveness of an individual's academic and professional activities. The presence of developed skills largely determines the success of a person. The use of this information in the process of learning at school can have a positive impact on the development of the student's personality in many ways. During the experiment, information was obtained about the level of development of soft skills in high school students. The data obtained indicate the need to organize work on the development of soft skills. A soft skills development program was proposed and tested. The results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed program. Conclusions are drawn about the peculiarities of the conditions for the development of soft skills in children of high school age
