This article discusses the need for teachers who are able not only to organize the educational process of younger students, but entrepreneurial activity in the field of education. In connection with the research problem, an analysis was made of publications in the Web of Science database on the topic of entrepreneurship education for 2017-2022, as well as a survey of students, as a result of which the initial levels of understanding of the concept of «entrepreneurial competence», students' plans after graduation, attendance of courses on entrepreneurship, etc. Through a systematic approach, the authors make a contextual analysis of the views of various scientists in the field of «entrepreneurial competence» and draw scientific conclusions.
The purpose of the study – analysis of the theoretical and practical foundations of entrepreneurial competence, entrepreneurial education of future primary school teachers.
Research methods – analysis and generalization of scientific and practical works on the topic, empirical methods, experiment. The article presents the results of a survey of students of the specialty «Primary education» of the Abay Kazakh national pedagogical university (further – Abai KazNPU).
