The effectiveness of the student learning is an urgent problem today, since with the transition to credit
technology, the proportion of students' independent work, responsibility for the quality of work organization
and self-control has increased. At this stage, it is very important to support students, help them to cope with
possible problems in learning. Therefore, it is important for the teacher to understand the student's motivation
to learn, to support and develop it.
In this article, the authors consider ways to solve this problem, conclude that motivation for successful
learning is a complex system that consists of the motives, goals, tasks of the persons participating in
learning. The article describes the learning process in the form of a mathematical formula, where one of the
components is the target motivation of students.
