The development of professional skills of choreographers in universities involves setting its goal in the form of a final model of a specialist. The implementation of the tasks of the educational process in choreographic educational institutions determined the need to develop and substantiate the didactic and theoretical foundations of personnel training and its ultimate goal - the formation of professional skills in students based on a systems approach. Thus, the work examines the general patterns of didactics and the features of the application of its categories in the context of the development of choreographer teachers and their readiness for professional activity.

The main types of activities of choreography students at the university are: educational, creative, educational processes, skills of organizational and leisure work, research activities, creative and independent work, as well as types of professional practice. Structural and substantive analysis of the educational process, principles of quality management and requirements for new generation choreographers, as well as participation in specialized audits of national and international formats, allowed us to conduct a comparative diagnosis of the internal environment of traditional creative universities and a modern system of quality management of education and personnel training. Consequently, the inclusion in the content of training, in addition to the knowledge to be acquired, of a system of activities into which this knowledge, skills and abilities should be included, will ensure the training of choreographers in Kazakhstani universities at a higher professional level.
