The article revealed how great the opportunity is for teachers to improve their educational performance using digital learning in addition to the traditional format. In particular, a study was conducted on the role of information and communication technologies in teaching chemistry and conducting practical work. The research paper analyzes foreign and domestic articles and research papers. Conducted a survey of 44 teachers of Gymnasium №1 in Almaty to identify ways and opportunities to replace paper work with digital learning. The survey included several sections: for all subject teachers and for chemistry teachers. This was necessary to identify interdisciplinary connections and differences in the use of digital technologies in education.
The article also explains the concepts of digital learning and digital competence. It is planned to broaden the horizons of students by increasing the status of digitalization of chemistry teaching in the Kazakh language, to increase the level of knowledge by becoming interested in new aspects of learning. Modern students are young people of modern times with developed skills to think in a new way. In their education, teachers are required to be innovative and inquisitive. Therefore, the research work in the article is aimed at raising the level of knowledge of students to a new level.
