The article discusses digital tools and assesses the impact of digital devices on the general educational process of the teacher training system. In the classification of digital tools, the following services can be organized: organization of joint activities, creation of a digital educational environment, services for organizing online classes, implementation of feedback. The use of digital tools in the educational process of school teachers expands their functional and pedagogical capabilities. In order to improve digital literacy and qualifications of teachers of secondary schools, a special program consisting of 5 modules was compiled, and a survey was conducted on its basis. Based on the survey results, teachers' interest in digital technologies, knowledge of innovative methods and the possibility of using them in the educational process were assessed. Chemistry teachers were offered a virtual laboratory for distance learning.
