The article deals with the problem of the formation of professional flexibility of future teachers in the conditions of a pedagogical university. The purpose of the study is to determine the level of formation of stable motivation to carry out pedagogical activity as a component of professional flexibility of future teachers.
The methodological basis of the study was the system-service approach (V.P.Bespalko, D.B.Elkonin); a structural approach to the study of personality; a survey; analysis and generalization of scientific and theoretical data. We conducted an empirical study of students' motivation for teaching activities for 4 years. The study involved 213 1st year students of the educational programs "Special Pedagogy", "Pedagogy and Psychology", "pedagogy and methods of primary education" of Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after A.Margulan. The study was conducted using the author's developed questionnaire.
The features of the formation of stable motivation to carry out pedagogical activity as a component of professional flexibility of future teachers are summarized. The necessity of introducing technology for the formation of sustainable motivation for the implementation of pedagogical activities of future teachers is substantiated.
